Yes, this prefix supports a 5G internet connection. Smart’s 5G internet is 20 times faster than the 4G connection.

According to the official website, Smart’s 5G internet connection is available in 4,000 cities nationwide. Soon, their 5G service will be available in all cities across the Philippines.

Smart Sim Registration Process

According to Republic Act No. 11934, all telecom users are required to register their SIM cards with their respective telecom providers.

If you have not yet registered your SIM, here are the methods to do so.

Step – 1 

First, go to https://simreg.smart.com.ph/.

Next, you will be asked to enter your mobile number. Once you enter your mobile number, you will receive a one-time password (OTP).

Step – 2 

In Step 2, you will be asked to provide some important information. Enter your OTP and attach a copy of your valid government ID.

Step – 3 

Take a screenshot of the control number or save it.

Wait for confirmation of your successful registration; they will inform you via call or SMS.
